Nathan Day
Nathan Day is one of Australia’s most respected furniture designer-makers, with a career spanning nearly three decades. His passion for furniture and design began with a formative apprenticeship in Yallingup in the early 2000s, followed by time in England, where he became the first Australian to train at the prestigious Edward Barnsley Workshop in Hampshire. Immersed in the English Arts and Crafts tradition, Nathan developed a foundation of integrity and technical mastery that remains the cornerstone of his practice today.
David Spencer
David Spencer is a contemporary Australian artist whose work explores human emotion through expressive use of colour, texture and movement. Inspired by his upbringing in Northwest Australia during the 1970s, his paintings and installations draw on personal experience while resonating with universal themes.
Patrick Bloomer
Patrick Bloomer is an American-born artist based in Western Australia whose work is inspired by travel, culture and the natural world. After settling near Dunsborough in the early 1970s, he established a studio on a 32-acre property where he designed and built three sculptural buildings and hosted artists and art classes for many years. Alongside his art practice, Bloomer founded and operated Dreamtime Designs, a successful graphic design and screen-printing business. His work reflects themes of landscape, culture, memory and human experience.
Heidi Emma
Heidi Emma is a Western Australian artist based near Dunsborough whose work focuses on still life and landscapes inspired by the Margaret River Region. Working primarily in oils, she is known for her luminous use of light, calm colour palettes and atmospheric style, creating paintings that evoke a sense of beauty, nostalgia and peace. Largely self-taught, Heidi's work is held in private collections across Australia and internationally.
Jessie Hartwig-Boutkan
Jessie Hartwig-Boutkan (b. 1990) is a self-taught artist living on Wadandi Boodja, Margaret River. She works in figurative abstraction, simplifying forms while exploring composition, colour, and spatial balance. Her work emphasises surface texture and saturated colour while engaging with the histories, identities, and inherited fictions of Australian bush lore.
Christian Fletcher
Christian Fletcher began his photography career after moving to Dunsborough in 1990, developing his craft in the era of film and darkrooms. After years of commercial, portrait and wedding photography, he found his passion in landscape photography and established his own galleries in the late 1990s. Renowned for his mastery of light, composition and colour, Fletcher has become one of Western Australia’s most celebrated landscape photographers.
Ian Daniell
Ian Daniell (b. 1986, Sunderland, UK) is a British artist based in Western Australia. Trained at the University of the Arts London, he relocated to WA in 2018 after being inspired by encounters with killer whales and the marine environments of Ningaloo Reef. Through his practice, Life-Size Ocean Art, Daniell creates life-scale paintings, prints and sculptures celebrating marine life. His work combines scientific accuracy with a passion for ocean conservation, and his artwork Krill was acquired by the Western Australian Museum in 2022. He currently lives and works in Fremantle.
Britt Dunbar
Britt Dunbar is an accomplished artist known for her captivating large-scale landscape paintings in oil. With a focus on depicting the breathtaking vistas of Western Australia, her work captures the essence and natural beauty of this vast and awe-inspiring region. Her unique contemporary style infuses traditional landscape painting techniques with a modern twist, resulting in striking compositions that invite viewers to immerse themselves in the beauty of the Australian landscape. She has exhibited locally and nationally and currently works out her studio in Fremantle.
Emma Flaherty
Emma has been creating with clay since the 1990s. Her practice is guided by intuition, allowing each vessel to emerge naturally in response to life's ever-changing moments. Working primarily with stoneware, she leaves the exterior raw and unglazed, embracing simplicity, texture, and organic imperfection. Each piece is unique, balancing strength with soft, elegant forms that invite a sense of stillness and quiet.
Kura Studio
Kura Studio is a creative practice based in sunny Perth, Western Australia. Founded by best-friend duo, Anika Kalotay & Serena Pangestu in 2017, their ethos is embedded in making and designing as a way to explore concepts of living, working and consuming mindfully. To compliment their range of handmade products, they are also passionate about sourcing quality & specialty objects from near and far to enhance everyday living.

ADesignStudio is an award-winning lighting design practice led by Alex Fitzpatrick in Sydney, Australia. Combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary lighting technology, the studio creates expressive, functional pieces that transform spaces through light. Inspired by nature, memory, and architecture, each design balances innovation with artistry.
Martine Perret
Born in Paris, Martine Perret now lives and works from Margaret River. She began her career as a photojournalist, spending a decade documenting UN peacekeeping missions in conflict zones around the world. That background now shapes her current practice — striking aerial photography and portraiture of the Western Australian landscape, alongside projects exploring the cultural significance of First Nations languages.
