About the artist
Born in Perth in 1948, Rob developed a passion for art under the influence of renowned landscape artist Robert Juniper. After studying Fine Art and teaching art in Perth, he moved to the South West in 1975 to pursue his creative practice. His mixed-media paintings are known for their rich textures, earthy colours and symbolic compositions inspired by his extensive travels throughout Australia and overseas. Through both painting and photography, Rob captures his deep connection to landscape, culture and the natural environment.
